Weekend Farm Fun Offered in Loudoun County

In Loudoun County, summertime is a great time for the entire family to enjoy the outdoors, go on excursions, and do fun things together.  Ticonderoga Farms will be hosting a Summer Barnyard Weekend Bash this weekend with lots of fun farm activities and meet-and-greets with different kinds of farm animals.

Lots of fun and educational activities await families for two entire days, and anyone is welcome to attend.  Kids can watch chickens produce fresh eggs and then look at all of the different colors on a peacock. They can witness cows being milked and goats making their funny sounds.

Not only will everyone be able to see and greet the animals, but there will be other exciting activities to enjoy as well. You can go on a hayride on a cow or cross the longest swinging bridge. There are big slides, s’mores roasting, a panda puzzle bamboo maze, cow trains, and huge jumping pillows. Kids can also throw a coin into a wishing well and pick their own pumpkin in the pumpkin patches.

The Summer Barnyard Weekend Bash will be held on July 13 & 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
